I'm not sure now who gave us this sticker Nativity on Sunday, but we had a great time working on it! Hultz loved the stickers but couldn't wait to get them off of his hand! The finished product- the angel is in the sky and all other characters are accounted for- so that means it was a success!
The 'lesson' part of our family home evening was to learn which person in the Nativity was baby Jesus. He loved knowing that there was a baby. He know can point to both baby Jesus on the card and Santa on our towel, though he can only say Santa... we'll keep working on that one!

Santa, Bread & Lots of Laughter
We had Santa visit our Ward Christmas Party- but he didn't come until the very end of the evening, which was late and Hultz had expired. Jon was great- he got in line first and took Hultz up for a photo moment... but 3 other cameras went off at the same time mine so the picture didn't turn out very well. Hultz wasn't impressed with the bearded, red-suited, ho-ho-ho-er. I didn't want to make him sit there unhappy any longer, so this is the picture:
Hultz has had a great time 'helping' me cook and bake lately. His favorite thing to help with is cookies because he knows what chocolate chips are. The first few times we made someting, I let him taste most of the ingredients. Salt and thyme weren't his favorites. The chocolate chips won every time though. I made Mom's wheat breat a few days ago. I let my bread maker mix up the dough and then I put it in a regular bread pan to bake. Hultz helped add all of the ingredients and then wanted to keep checking it...
Hultz loves to laugh, especially with his Daddy. Jon knows just how to tickle him to get the best sounding laugh.

Food Storage & Mittens
We worked on our food storage last night for FHE. We ordered some flour & sugar from the Bishps's storehouse and we had a ton of beans and oats already. We did the mylar bags and had a great time. Hultz was a great help. He 'sorted' the beans and pressed the peddle for the mylar sealer.
This one is my favorite!

Dinner with the Deschamps
Last night we had dinner with Dave & Jen Deschamps and their cute little girl Olive. It was Dave's big 3-0 birthday so we enjoyed lots of cake & ice cream afterwards. Some of their neighbors came by to enjoy in the festivities.
Following all of the food, we lounged on the couches and watched the Christmas Broadcast. Both Hultz & Olive were very good sports. They played very well together and there was no bitting all night!
I think Hultz enjoyed being the only boy around, but might also have been a bit overwhelmed by the amount of pink surrounding him...
Hultz & Olive are both obsessed with water & tooth-brushing.

Such cheeseballs!

Riding with Grandpa
Last night we had Jon's laptop up and our pictures were going across as a screensaver. Hultz was pointing at the baby that came across (which was him) and then he started to say Paa Paa...and it was a picture of Grandpa! SOOOOOOO sweet!
Thanksgiving
Well family, we had a great time with you over Thanksgiving break. We enjoyed ALL of the yummy food, the fun conversations, the great tours, and the wonderful company. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the week:
