Our Big Helper

Hultz loves to help us. He's done a lot this past week:

-He 'helped' Jon rake leaves on Saturday.

-He 'helped' put the clothes in the washer and dryer.

-He helps pick out the socks from the laundry baskets.

-He 'helped' bring in some groceries (the can of diced tomatoes that fell out).

It's pretty great to see him so willing to help and I hope it lasts through his teenage years.

Hultz helped me this morning put some letters on the toy box Grandma & Grandpa got him:
And we had more letters to put in a box we already have full of toys:
Hultz loves these pajamas. I bought them a long time ago when they were clearanced. He refuses to take them off. He will stand in front of the mirror and point to all of the balls. Pretty cute, huh?

My last comment on Hultz's helping can be summed up in this short video. I had some bread being mixed up in our bread maker. Hultz helped me add the flour and salt (I was in charge of the wet ingredients) and then he pressed start. He was allowed to check on the bread (which he ooohed and ahhhed over). You can see that he's pretending to add more flour and then notices his block...

Christmas in Idaho

We had such a fun time in Idaho. Hultz loved playing with all of his aunts and unlces and especially his cousin, Naomi. She was a good sport, as she had to endure wrestling matches quite often.

Playing the piano...this happened alot.

Bath time together...this didn't happen very often because Hultz splashed so much.

Reading with Uncle Sam.

Ready to go outside. He hated being to bundled up but loved being outside.

Sledding with Dad.

Meal times were fun. Hultz was always sharing his food with Naomi, who was thrilled.

Uncle Dan reading to Hultz.

Christmas Eve in matching PJs.

Another wrestling match...this time Namoi won.

Hultz helped feed calves Christmas morning. He really liked them.

Talking to Joe on Christmas morning with Grandma Hubbard.

Listening to Uncle Joe's voice. He thought it was pretty cool.

Opening a present with Grandma & Great Grandma.

Chasing his shadow.

Christmas morning. There's about 1 1/2 feet of snow on the ground.

His youngest aunt & uncles always found a new way to entertain him. Aunt Anna put Hultz in a cooler and pushed him arround. He squealed with delight the whole time.

Celebrating my birthday at Grandma & Grandpa Goodsell's house.

Hultz wearing the pink bow from one of my gifts. I think he looked sweet...Jon didn't.

Checking out the snow falling at Uncle Rob & Aunt Karen's house.
